Galapagos -Kreuzblende simulates a 36 minute cross-fade between science and sound art. It ends as a hybrid sonore. A speech on speciation among birds step by steps morphes into a sound texture employing virtual voices that adopt the sounds of Darwin’s finches.
Antje Vowinckel is a Berlin based sound artist, radio artist and performer. She works for a variety of public radio stations such as WDR, DRadio, SWR and also creates musical live performances and sound installations. http://www.antjevowinckel.de
NACHRICHTENTSTELLT is inspired by the specific sound of radio news that are transformed into a series of sound poetry compositions.
